We are a Covenant rooted in the Judeo-Christian tradition, acknowledging the Creator as the ultimate source of Life and Liberty.
We reject the modern heresy that equates goodness with harmlessness. We follow the Christ who braided the whip, the Christ who ordered the sword, and the God of David who trains hands for war (Psalm 144:1). We hold that a faith which forbids the defense of the innocent is broken. We are not pacifists; we are Peacemakers—and peace can only be made by those with the capacity to destroy the breaker of peace.
The Definition: Fate is often misunderstood as destiny—a mystical path written by the gods.
We know the truth: Fate is simply Inertia. It is the default trajectory of events when good men do nothing.
The Fate of the lamb when the wolf arrives is death.
The Fate of the innocent when the tyrant rises is subjugation.
The Fate of the family when the predator enters is tragedy.
A Fatebreaker is the moral agent who refuses to accept these defaults. We are the Intercessors. We carry the capacity for violence not to inflict suffering, but to sever the line of tragedy before it can be written. We exist to snap the thread of inevitability.
“Blessed be the Lord, my rock, who trains my hands for war and my fingers for battle.” (Psalm 144:1)
Lord, we come before you today with rifles, pistols, and gear, but also with hearts and minds that need training. You are the giver of life, liberty, and every good thing worth defending. We thank you for the strength to stand, the means to prepare, and the calling to protect those you’ve entrusted to our care.
We ask you to search our motives. Burn out in us any pride, bloodlust, or reckless spirit. Strip away fantasies of violence, and replace them with a sober, steady willingness to act when we must. Let these tools we carry never become idols in our hearts, but remain what they are: instruments to guard the innocent and resist evil.
Lord, make us safe and disciplined. Help us treat every firearm with respect, every round as if it matters—because it does. Guard us from negligence, from careless habits, from the arrogance that says, “It won’t happen to me.” Give us humility to stop when something feels wrong, to correct ourselves, and to accept correction from others.
You are the author of life, and we know that the duty to protect life does not end when the shooting stops. Remind us to keep our trauma kits ready, our skills sharp, and our minds rehearsed for emergencies. Train our hands not only to handle weapons, but also to apply tourniquets, to stop bleeding, and to fight for every breath of a wounded neighbor. Let the same hands that might one day pull a trigger be just as ready to bind up wounds.
Father, protect this range and everyone on it. Keep our minds clear, our eyes sharp, and our trigger fingers disciplined. Let no negligent round leave a barrel today. Let no ego push us beyond our abilities. Help us to value precision over noise, responsibility over speed, and character over bragging rights.
If the day ever comes when we must use these skills for real, let us act with courage, clarity, and restraint. Make us the kind of men and women who stand in the gap without hesitation, but never pull a trigger in anger or panic. Let our training today serve peace, not chaos; protection, not oppression.
As we close this time of practice, we place ourselves, our families, and our community in your hands. Walk with us as we leave this range. Keep us slow to anger, hard to provoke, and quick to step in for the innocent. May we carry the weight of this responsibility with sober minds and faithful hearts.
Lord, be our rock, our shield, and our guide. Train our hands for war, our fingers for battle, and our hearts for peace. - Amen
