The Covenant of the Fatebreaker is a Christian-based custodial order. We are not a church of buildings, but a community of the Consecrated Individual.
We recognize that in a fallen world, tragedy is often "fated" by the malice of the wicked. We exist to stand in the gap, to strike the wolf, and to ensure that evil does not have the final word in the story of the innocent.
The Covenant focuses on providing support and comfort to those affected by tragedy, grounded in Christian principles. It emphasizes the importance of community and standing up against evil through compassionate action and support for those in need.
"I will not offer unto God that which costs me nothing."
The Principle: A weapon in the hands of an untrained man is a liability, not a defense. The Fatebreaker understands that skill is not a gift; it is a debt owed to those he protects.
The Action: You are mandated to train. You must seek the "Discipline of the Rock" (Psalm 144:1). If you cannot hit the target, you cannot break the fate. Incompetence is a dereliction of duty.
"I am the Master of the Sword, not its Servant."
The Principle: We reject the "hair-trigger" mentality. We adhere to the biblical definition of Meekness (Praus): Power under absolute control. A Fatebreaker is dangerous to enemies, but safe to everyone else.
The Action: You will never use force out of anger, ego, or convenience. Violence is a tool of last resort, deployed only when the innocent are threatened or the line is crossed. The sword stays sheathed until the mission requires it.
"I refuse to be a Bystander to Evil."
The Principle: Neutrality in the face of predation is complicity. The Fatebreaker rejects the "not my problem" excuse. If death is being dealt to the innocent, it is your problem.
The Action: When you see those "staggering toward slaughter," you intervene. You break the timeline of the victim's destruction. You are the variable that changes the outcome from "tragedy" to "survival."
"I build as fiercely as I defend."
The Principle: A warrior who cannot build is just a destroyer. We carry the sword in one hand, and the trowel in the other (Nehemiah 4:17). The ultimate goal of the Fatebreaker is not war; it is Shalom (Peace/Wholeness).
The Action: You must be a nurturer of your family and community. You protect the garden so that things may grow, not just so they won't die. After the threat is neutralized, your duty shifts to restoration (The Good Samaritan Protocol).
"I will not sleep on the wall."
The Principle: The blood of the unwarned is on the hands of the Watchman (Ezekiel 33:6). Situational awareness is a spiritual discipline. To be oblivious is to be negligent.
The Action: You maintain vigilance. You identify threats before they breach the perimeter. You are the alarm system for those who are asleep or unable to see the danger. You see what others miss so that you can prevent what others fear.
